will be a celebration of the Feast of Michael and All Angels. It will
consist of music and texts that explore these spiritual personages,
with special attention being paid to Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. The
angelic anti-hero, Lucifer, will also figure prominently in the
program's texts. |
The music, text
and liturgy that make up the program are oriented around
Judeo-Christian and western classical repertoires. Performance practices, styles and
traditions of each invited performer or ensemble are given equal voice,
resulting in a world fusion of styles with a dominant root in the
classical music tradition. |
